Selling in a crisis
Now’s not a time for selling. Many of us are simply trying to exist and get through the next day. However, now’s really not a time for another crisis.
At NFS, we are committed to serving the nation and protecting against the damaging impact of flooding. And this year, we could be facing more severe weather. With the impact of COVID-19 being felt across the country, NFS is dedicated to preventing further turmoil and we are supporting agents nationwide in protecting their insureds from the risk of costly flooding. With NFIP policies taking 30 days to come into effect, now is the time to ensure policyholders at risk have coverage in place.
This season, we are seeing:

NOAA has forecast major to moderate flooding in 23 states

Significant risk in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota

Expected higher than average temperatures and rainfall – a dangerous combination for flooding on saturated soils

Severe flooding from Spring 2019 has left vulnerable conditions this year

Hurricane season expected to be 25% worse than average

16 named tropical storms, 8 hurricanes and 4 major hurricanes predicted
