KALISPELL, Mont. May 13, 2019 (BUSINESSWIRE)–National Flood Services announces the appointment of Ralph Blust as Chief Executive Officer. Blust will replace interim CEO George Ruhana, who will continue in his role as operating partner.
“We are fortunate to have found such a strong CEO in Ralph and are excited about the leadership qualities he brings to NFS,” said George Ruhana. “We are building world-class technology and solutions to protect the nation from the impact of flooding. With over 30 years of insurance industry experience, Ralph is uniquely positioned to advance these benefits for our clients and their consumers.”
Blust said, “NFS is the leader in flood insurance solutions and I am honored and excited to be joining such a talented team and helping NFS accomplish its next phase of growth. The combination of the company’s expertise in flood insurance, and the ambition and technology capabilities of PEAK6 means there is no-one better placed to create a new era of growth and customer focus in the insurance space.
We are at a pivotal moment for the flood industry. Customers need flood protection more than ever, and in a digital-first world, they rightly demand speed and simplicity. The substantial investments we are making in our services will create an unrivalled customer solution and we look forward to partnering with carriers across the country to serve their clients’ needs.”
