Job Description:
Business Development Executive Position Summary: This position will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth through developing effective sales strategies, marketing excellence, and identifying and developing new markets and clients.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy focused on customer retention, product offerings, new customers, new revenue streams, and superior customer satisfaction.
  • Lead sales, marketing, branding, and collateral development activities.
  • Build and drive direct sales to meet/exceed KPIs and sales targets.
  • Conduct research to identify potential clients, new markets, and customer needs; stay updated with competition.
  • Negotiate and prepare contract terms with clients and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Develop sales pitch materials.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ needs.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Work with operations, technology, and other areas of the business to ensure sales commitments are implemented.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a business development executive, sales executive or a relevant role.
  • Proven track record of overachievement and exceeding sales targets.
  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for sales.
  • Ability to work under daily/weekly deadlines in a fast-changing work environment.
  • Industry market knowledge in insurance.
  • Demonstrated effective negotiation and networking skills.
  • Exceptional project management and time management skills.
  • Proven Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
  • BS/BA in business administration, marketing or relevant field with at least 3 years of progressive experience.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time including overnight; both in-state and out-of-state travel required and have access to a commercial airport.

Remote Workspace Requirements:
This position is 100% fully remote. Furniture, such as desk and chair and office supplies shall be provided by the employee. Employee must have reliable internet and be able to use personal cell phone for work purposes. The company will provide a laptop, docking station, monitors, and other equipment, if necessary.
